Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, argues the current crypto downturn reflects market evolution rather than systemic failure. In a series of public statements this week, he framed the 44% decline from October's $4.4 trillion peak as a natural correction in a maturing ecosystem.

"This cycle lacks the catastrophic failures we saw in 2022," Nazarov observed, noting the absence of FTX-scale collapses or lending crises. The resilience suggests improved risk management across institutional crypto participants.

Market data shows $2 trillion evaporated since October, yet Nazarov remains bullish. His analysis points to two key differentiators: no major institutional collapses, and growing infrastructure robustness during volatility. "Systemic risks have markedly decreased," he stated.
